Sustainy partnered with Tanner Lab to conceive, design, and deliver a prototype for sustainability reporting tailored to Swiss SMEs. We acted as a digital consulting partner across product strategy, product design, and implementation. The outcome is a clear, guided reporting experience that moves teams from uncertainty to confidence - complete with a print‑ready report and a polished public presence.
Challenge
Swiss SMEs face rising expectations to disclose sustainability information but often lack a practical, structured way to collect and present it. Sustainy set out to change this with a focused, easy‑to‑adopt solution that:

We built the prototype on our Tanner Lab GmbH Portal Starter Kit, a production-ready foundation with secure authentication, user management, file handling, and real-time capabilities. This allowed us to focus on Sustainy's core features while ensuring enterprise-grade security and scalability from day one.
The application provides a structured, template‑driven questionnaire that adapts to the selected reporting scope, with clear progress and completion states that encourage momentum and accountability.
Sensitive‑data controls allow teams to decide what is included in the final report. A print‑ready, branded report supports external sharing and stakeholder review.
Access is passwordless to reduce friction while maintaining security. Team and role management enables collaboration across departments.
User profiles and a clean information architecture help maintain context and consistency throughout the reporting journey.
